Qualifications And Experience

State Registered Nurse with three to five years of relevant experience; Relevant practicing certificate; Completed course in Advanced HIV and AIDS Management; Post basic qualification in community nursing, midwifery, health management training or equivalent is an added advantage; MPH is an added advantage; Senior Nursing experience in the public OI/ART clinics with reference to PMTCT and HIV Care and Treatment is a must; Management experience as DNO/Community Nurse or Hospital Matron in a public health setting in Zimbabwe is preferred; Experience in managing HIV Care and treatment land PMTCT programs is an added advantage; Experience working in MoHCC clinics and NGO environment.

Provincial Strategic Information Evaluation Officer

Job Description

  • Lead the implementation of all SIE activities in the province.
  • Ensure compliant use of MER plans, tools and a SOPs in the province.
  • Support sites to adapt standard operating procedures (SOP) for data quality assurance, reporting, data dissemination, and other routine M&E processes.
  • Support collection of routine data; Support Monitoring and evaluation capacity development activities.
  • Contributes to the timely implementation, accurate, timely and appropriate reporting of project activities and results to funders, including High frequency reports, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual progress reports;
  • Reviews routinely collected M&E data, provides feedback to Provincial and ACCE Head Office teams;
  • Supports Provincial and ACCE Head Office teams in using findings to improve program performance; Provides technical guidance for use and dissemination of routinely collected and data from surveillance systems;
  • Support data use efforts at site levels; Attend to district and provincial meetings on behalf of ACCE program;
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of health and development programs in Zimbabwe specifically.
  • Sound knowledge and experience regarding M&E, statistics and quality assurance/quality improvement, and their specificities for Zimbabwe; Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infections.
  • Capacity to manage and build the capacity of district teams.
  • Capacity to consistently provide technical inputs on HIV/AIDS in the ZHI network to improve the quality of HIV/AIDS service delivery.
  • Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors, consultants and recipients of assistance.
  • Ability to represent ZHI/Zimbabwe to stakeholders and the NGO community.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and deliver high volumes of work with minimal supervision.
  • High degree of proficiency in written and spoken English communication, including presentation and training skills.
  • Proven ability in supervising staff; Well-developed computer skills.

Qualifications And Experience

  • An Advanced degree in mathematics, demography, statistics, public health, or social sciences.
  • Minimum of three years of experience and demonstrated practical skills in monitoring HIV and AIDS, TB, care and support programs.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of quantitative data collection using the MOHCC systems, including data analysis using Excel, Epi-Info, or any other data analysis software.
  • Familiarity with and good working knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and familiarity with PEPFAR indicators and reporting requirements will be an added advantage.
  • The ability to speak local languages in the respective area is highly desirable.

Office Assistant

Basic Function

The Office Assistant will be responsible for manning the ZHI front office desk, including perform administrative and routine clerical tasks, including organizing and managing files, acting as office receptionist, scheduling meetings and appointments, and supporting other staff with organizational tasks.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the ZHI front office desk/reception operations whilst acting as the first point of contact for guests, vendors, and employees;
  • Manage the switchboard including answering incoming phone calls and directing callers to the appropriate party;
  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mails/parcels in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings and/or conferences;
  • Work with the admin team to monitor and manage inventory of office supplies, including distribution of the same to relevant departments and field offices;
  • Perform other administrative support tasks, including updating and sorting files, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and supporting program staff to do photocopying of documents.
  • Ensure the office is kept clean, and organized throughout kitchen, conference rooms, storage rooms/closets, and communal areas;
  • Support in running various routine errands, as required, for the organization/programs.

Qualifications And Experience

  • At least a diploma in front office management, customer relations, secretarial studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on relevant experience in an office setting, preferably in an administrative or receptionist role.
  • Prior experience working an NGO setting is preferred; Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken).
