Moshidi Motshegwa Debuts On Isono As The Devious Sarah
Seasoned actress, Moshidi Motshegwa has finally made her debut on BET drama, Isono.
This follows after she was spotted on a film set some weeks ago, before it was announced that she would be featuring on Isono.
Moshidi Motshegwa hadn’t made onscreen appearances after her infamous departure from the The River, where she played Malefu.
Fans were wondering if she was going to come back on The River at some point, but it appears she has found a new home at Isono.
She plays a character called Sarah on Isono, a mysterious woman who comes to Vosloorus with an agenda.
Sarah is hired by pastor Abiola to work at the church.
She has a revenge agenda on her mind which is going to be cause destruction and she befriends, Mary’s son, Gabriel, and Mam Lili, House of Grace helper, to get more information and cause trouble in the Ndlovu household.
Motshegwa opened up on her new role and said she was excited to get to play Sarah
“I am excited to offer an interpretation to an African female character who could easily be lost in the cracks of society.
“I hope the character opens up a conversation that is often difficult to have around the experiences of women, violence and the ramifications of trauma.”
Monde Twala of ViacomCBS Networks Africa said they were pleased to have such a talented actress like Moshidi Motshegwa on the channel

Meanwhile, The River fans are still holding out hope that Moshidi Motshegwa will come back to reprise the role of Malefu.
