Mastermind Leaving Uzalo Again After Big Comeback
Uzalo fans will be devastated to know that everyone’s favorite bad boy, Mastermind is not in town for long.
In fact, Mastermind’s return is not the big return, but part of the storyline which wrapped up with Dawn Thandeka King’s exit.
The actor, who plays Mastermind, TK Dlamini confirmed on Twitter that he is not coming back to Uzalo for good, but was scheduled to appear for 3 episodes only.
This was after a fan took to Twitter to ask why Mastermind was not in the Uzalo May teasers, despite coming back on the show.
TK Dlamini said Mastermind’s return was tied to the conclusion of MaNgcobo’s storyline, to assist her to pull off her heist.
Wrote TK Dlamini
“That was the arch… Mastermind was only back to assist MaNgcobo and leave again. Thanks to everyone that watched.”
This means there will be no Mastermind, even if there are rumors that Mxolisi, who was his sidekick, will make a return.
The first time TK Dlamini left Uzalo, was so he could focus on taking care og his newborn baby girl with actress, Jessica Nkosi.
There were rumors that he had been fired from the show because he was difficult to work with, but the Uzalo show runners set the record straight, saying
“We’d like to make it clear that he was never dismissed or suspended, we can confirm that TK Dlamini, also known as Mastermind, will be appearing on Uzalo in the near future,”
I guess the next best thing would be to wait for the return of Mxolisi as the consolation price.
