Letoya Makhene’s Father Celebrates Her Traditional Wedding To A Woman

Renowned artist Blondie Makhene, has expressed his happiness that his daughter, actress Letoya Makhene, got hitched to a woman.

Blondie Makhene said in no uncertain terms that men are trash and didn’t mince his words.

Letoya Makhene, who plays Tshidi Phakhade on Generations finally had her traditional wedding to her lover Lebo Keswa on Tuesday.

The two lovebirds got married in Soweto at Moletsane Sports Complex.

Letoya and Lebo Keswa were dressed in white with a touch of Sotho traditional attire.

Before the wedding, both families also had to hold a ceremony to introduce Lebo to to their ancestors, as Letoya is a sangoma, which means Lebo has to be approved of by her spirits as well.

Blondie Makhene said he is happy his daughter is with Lebo

“I’m happy that my daughter is married to a woman. The two of you make me proud, absolutely proud. These two women have decided to be the change-makers. I can sleep now since my daughter decided to take a woman.

Then he went on to drop the epic men are trash line

“Guys don’t take any offense, men are not trash but men are trash. If you look at the last 100 years and see what men have done – war, bloodshed, killing, diseases, and men did this. I’m not saying there’s no man like Mkhulu daddy here,” he said referring to himself with a laugh

The new bride Letoya said she was happy that she finally found someone who compliments her and respects her ancestral calling.

” I’m humbled to find this woman who’s brave enough to understand my spiritual moods, highs and lows. She has taken everything that I come with. She has honoured my being,”
