Mutare Teachers’ College, operating under the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation Science, and Technology Development, is currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join their teaching staff. There are four lecturer positions available, each with specific requirements.

Department: Science and Mathematics
Specialization: Biology
For the first lecturer position, the college is seeking a candidate with expertise in biology. The following qualifications and experience are required:
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in secondary education
- Educational qualifications can include a BED in Biology, BSc Ed Hons in Biological Sciences, or a BSc in Biological Sciences, along with a Diploma in Education, Certificate in Education, or PGDE.
- Additional qualifications such as an MED in Biology or an MSc in Biology, are considered advantageous.
Department: Theory of Education
Specialization: Philosophy and Curriculum Studies
The second lecturer position focuses on Philosophy and Curriculum Studies in the Theory of Education department. The candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Bachelor of Education degree and a Masters of Education in Philosophy of Education and Curriculum Studies.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in secondary education.
Department: Professional Development Studies
Specialization: NASS (National Arts and Social Sciences)
The third lecturer position is in the Professional Development Studies department, specializing in NASS. The qualifications and experience required include:
- A B.A in History, Graduate Diploma in Education, or PGDE
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in secondary education
- Additional qualifications such as an MA or MSc in History, Development Studies, International Relations, or Heritage Studies are advantageous.
Requirements
