Technical Director – Zimbabwe MNCH
Qualifications
- Medical or advanced nursing degree and a master’s degree in public health
- Minimum 10 years of direct experience introducing or scaling up high-impact MNCH interventions at primary health care and referral hospital level.
- Experience developing health policies, strategies and technical guidance for national audiences
- Ability to work effectively with ministries of health, USAID, and other international and local development partners to achieve shared goals
- Experience in the direct provision of MNCH services and the clinical training, mentoring or supervision of MNCH providers
- In-depth understanding of the challenges faced by the Government of Zimbabwe and its MOHCC in retaining qualified medical and nursing staff
- Experience in direct supervision of a diverse group of technical experts and professional staff
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong writing and oral presentation skills

Supply Chain Specialist – Zimbabwe MNCH
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Public Health, Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or, a bachelor’s degree with four additional years (eight total) of relevant experience in lieu of a Master’s Degree
- At least six years designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating supply chain programs of similar nature, size, and complexity (preferably USAID-funded projects) with national or local governments, NGOs, or donors
- Experience working directly in health supply chain management, i.e., forecasting, quantification, procurement, warehousing, distribution, logistics management information systems, tracing, etc.
- Familiarity with Zimbabwe’s public health system and the issues affecting the management of its MNCH supply chain
- Proven ability to provide technical services and work effectively at the district and provincial levels
- Knowledge of US Government health initiatives and related reporting requirements and funding parameters
- Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative skills
- Proven ability to work as an effective team member and to manage local subawardees
- Professional communications skills – oral, written and presentation

Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning – Zimbabwe MNCH
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in public health, demography, sociology, epidemiology, biostatistics or a related field
- Minimum seven years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation and research related to large-scale health development projects
- An understanding of the standard indicators and techniques applied in the monitoring and evaluation of MNCH, HRH and supply chain management programs
- Skills and experience to develop methodological tools and instruments for monitoring and evaluation (i.e., IRB, questionnaires/protocols, analysis plans, data dashboards, etc.)
- Experience designing surveys and program monitoring systems
- Experience using the DHIS 2 platform to extract data for program monitoring and evaluation
- Experience designing and using digital applications for data capture, analysis and decision-making
- Knowledge of data collection protocols and processes for data quality verification
- Exceptional oral, written, presentation, coaching and contract management skills
