
The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking dynamic youth-led organizations to shape the future of global health. Applications are now open for the second term of the WHO Youth Council, running from 2024 to 2026. This fully-funded opportunity empowers young people worldwide to influence health policies and drive innovative solutions.
What is the WHO Youth Council? The WHO Youth Council is a platform for young people to contribute their perspectives to global health initiatives. By bringing together diverse voices, the Council aims to strengthen health systems worldwide through advocacy, innovation, and strategic guidance to WHO leadership.
Eligibility To be eligible, organizations must be youth-led, youth-focused, or a youth chapter within a larger organization operating internationally. A mix of health and non-health organizations is encouraged. All Council members must also be part of the WHO Civil Society Commission.
How to Apply Interested organizations should complete the online application and Tobacco-Arms Disclosure Form. Applications will be evaluated based on eligibility, diversity, and the organization’s goals and experience.

Application process
Interested organizations are required to complete the online application form available at WHO Youth Council Application Form. Additionally, applicants must submit the Tobacco-Arms Disclosure Form, which can be found here. Applications will be reviewed based on adherence to the eligibility criteria, diversity considerations, and relevant motivation, plans and experience of the organization.
