Qualifications Required
To be considered for the Farm Manager position at Agribase Farms, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
1. Farm Management Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Farm Manager.
This experience should be in one or more of the following areas: Crop Production, Beef, Horticulture, or Poultry.
Successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating farm activities, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity.
2. Farm Machinery Operation
A valid driver’s license is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of operating and maintaining various types of farm machinery and equipment.
The Farm Manager will be expected to manage the efficient utilization of machinery to ensure smooth farming operations.
3. Geographic Flexibility
The selected candidate must be prepared to work both within and outside Zimbabwe as required by the farm’s operational needs.
