Questions You Should Not Ask During An Interview
Asking questions during an interview is very recommended but there are some questions which are not supposed to be asked. Asking questions shows one’s confidence and eager to join the company. However, a lot of interviewees do not know the right questions to ask and this also disadvantages themselves from being employed. So it very important to know which questions to ask and not to.
Below is the list of the questions which are not supposed to be asked
How much does the job pay?
This question shows that someone is here for money and not for the jobs and he or she can do anything because of money. The recruiting team wants to hire candidates who have a strong passion for getting the job. However, the question about salary or payment during a job interview sends the wrong signal to the hiring team.
What employee benefits do you offer?
Again, this is a question which shows you are less interested in the job and more in the benefits. It is advisable not ever ask such a question.
Can I work from home?
*NB* If it was a home-based job, the job advertisement would have mentioned it already. This is regarded as a wrong question and you should never ask this at a job interview. If you ask such question simply it simply translates a message that you are asking for a special favour.
Who are your key competitors?
Since we live in a highly digitized world, most of the information you are looking for is on the web. If you want to know about the competitors of a company or business, all you need to do is search on Google. *NB* Do research on that before you go on an interview
What are the working hours?
This is a question which interviewers hate to hear during a job interview. Are you more interested in giving more hours to the job or the time off? Unless you want to leave the wrong impression, never ask this question.
