Interview Hacks That You Need to Know
There are dos and donts that are supposed to be observed with extra care and these will boost your chances to beat the competition with other job hunters.
Say out brief, shorts and straight answers
Less talk, fewer mistakes. In the interview, you just have to answer the asked questions and stop there. Unless there is a need for you to elaborate, but if not, it is wise to just keep quiet.
Don’t set up your interview schedule with strong candidates
Knowing that you are applying together with your friends who have better qualifications than you do, it is wise that you set up your interview on a different date with them so that interviewers will compare you and them.
Be enthusiastic
Being enthusiastic is a feature which recruiting team look for in the interviewees. Show them how you are interested in working for that company. So it is advisable that before going there one should do research about the company. This way, your interviewer will know that you are really interested to work for them.
Be honest
Do not pretend to be a know-it-all because this will backfire to you, sooner or later. Hard-selling yourself by saying that you have specific skills which you really don’t have will have negative effects in the long run.
Find common likes and interests
This is the best way to win the heart of the interviewer, find common interests and likes. Look around and observe the pictures and magazines in the office. For example, you see pictures football and you just say you love football also. try to praise him/her without being too obvious about it. When you share the same interests, chances are, you will be more favoured because he will remember you.
