Hotel Supervisor

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization throughout the hotel
  • Train new employees in their duties and responsibilities
  • Schedule and assign work tasks to employees
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet standards
  • Respond to guest complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and take appropriate action to prevent recurrences
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Prepare reports on employee performance and departmental operations
  • Enforce safety regulations and policies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of hotel policies and procedures
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring of new staff
  • Conduct performance reviews for subordinates

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree of Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism
  • Proven experience as a hotel supervisor or similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Food and Beverage Controller

  • Able to effectively control Food & Beverage Costs.
  • Control the Food and Beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.
  • Prepare variance analysis for food & beverage and communicate with relevant parties.
  • Update and maintain receipts in the systems
  • Check and cross-verify if all sales have been transferred correctly to the Property Management systems (PMS).
  • Check the cost of sales in all F&B outlets and ensure that the costs are within budget.
  • Check the menu pricing on the POS systems and ensure the correct prices are loaded.
  • Check the restaurant and bar checks daily.
  • Check the complimentary and confirm that all are approved.
  • Tally all end-of-shift reports generated from all POS tills.
  • Continuously study weaknesses in F&B control implemented at the Hotel and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Check the daily Food & Beverage revenues report submitted by the income audit for the accuracy of covers and average check.
  • Responsible for preparing daily Food and Beverage reports and distributing them to management.
  • Responsible for monthly F&B reports and distribution to management.
  • Responsible for surprise spot checks at all F&B outlets.
  • Prepare Duty Drinks and management report and confirm that this is as per entitlement.
  • Prepare the daily and monthly cost report department in relation to the cost of sales.
  • Prepare daily staff meal cost reports.
  • Participate in stock-taking at restaurants.
  • Spot-check on the receiving department to ensure that the scales are correct and goods are checked for quality.
  • Check and ensure that no material is issued out from the store without requisition or approval from the respective department head.
  • Check and ensure all menu items have a recipe.
  • Coordinate with restaurant management and finance to sort out issues pertaining to F&B.
  • Any other tasks as and when required by the management.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Commerce or Similar or 4-year bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or similar major

At least 3 years experience in the same role with an up-scale hospitality environment.

Barman/Waiter

Responsibilities

  • Stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
  • Being present in the service area to welcome and serve guests that require services.
  • Taking and serving food/drinks orders and up-sell any additional products as per SOPs
  • Ensuring orders are delivered to guests as per meal item standards.
  • Cleaning restaurant floors, tables and equipment in preparation for service.
  • Delivering guest bills and changes to guests/customers.
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • 5 O Levels including English Language
  • National Certificate in Hotel Catering

Chef

 Summary

 A position for a reliable, creative, experienced and hardworking chef has arisen and suitably qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

 Duties And Responsibilities

– Creating a menu ensuring variety and quality.

– Carrying out food costing.

– Ordering and monitoring food supplies.

– Preparing high-quality dishes.

 – Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

 -Training junior chefs.

 – Working unsupervised and delivering quality food.

Qualifications And Experience

– Degree, diploma, a certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent.

– Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.
