The HCSA is inviting prospective students to apply for the Hitach Kenkijin Bursary programme for the 2023 academic year.
Bursaries will be given to these studies in the following fields:
- Bachelor of Commerce
- Artisan Trades (Diesel Mechanics, Millwrights, and Auto-Electricians)
- BComm Accounting
- Bachelor of Science
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
The Hitachi Bursary Programme will give the following:
- One year of total funding and this includes:
- Mentorship and career counselling
- A LinkedIn rock your profile session
- Personal laptop
- A stipend
- Mentorship sessions with different coaches on growth topics
- Students may also get opportunities to work at Hitachi in the future
Requirements for the Hitachi Bursary
- South African Citizen
- You must be 16 to 35 years
- A strong academic record
- Must be currently in Matric or completed Matric
- Studying or intending to look towards the above qualifications in 2023
- A minimum average of 70% in your current studies; if you are already studying
- Must be in financial need
How to apply for the Hitachi Bursary:
Submit copies of the following, and if any of the below is missing, you may be disqualified:
- ID card
- Matric certificate
- Admission or registration proof on institution letterhead
- Transcript on institution letterhead
- Proof of residence
- Profile picture (head and shoulders)
- proof of income for parents/guardians
- For applicants younger than 18, signed consent from a parent or guardian
