Brief Background
It started as a team of Accounting boys back then in 2016, and the boys in the class were all on attachment by that time in Harare. Their first game was vs Old Mutual at Stanchart sports club in 2016. Soon after Graduation in 2017, they continued with games and started to attract other guys from college hence they had to change the name from HACCFC to MSU LEGENDS in 2018.
Currently, the team is affiliated with Tambai Super 8 league which is sponsored by Viego, and they are seating 6th on the Logo out of 8 Teams.

NAME AND OWNERSHIP OF THE LEAGUES
(a) The major league is styled ‘Tambai SuperLiga’ and the mini-league is styled ‘Tambai Super8’. This rule book applies to both leagues.
(b) Both Tambai SuperLiga and Tambai Super8 are the brainchild of Tambai Sports hub – a sports management company also registered with Sports Recreation Commission as ‘Tambai Mul-disciplinary Sports Community.
FORMAT OF THE LEAGUE
(a) Both SuperLiga and Super8 shall use an 11-aside set-up.
(b) SuperLiga shall constitute 16 teams – 8 company or corporate teams and 8 community teams.
(c) Super8 shall constitute at least 8 teams – at least 4 paid clubs (at least 2 corporate teams and at least 2 community teams) and 4 organised but financially struggling teams to be selected by Tambai as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS).
(d) The leagues shall run on a round-robin format and on two legs, one being a home match and another being an away match.
(e) The duration of each league game shall be 90 minutes (45 minutes for each half). In the event that, this is not feasible as a result of reasonable causes, teams may agree for the game duration to be at least 70 minutes (35minutes in each half). In the event of bad weather-induced stoppage and other unforeseen circumstances, if the game has been played for more than 70 minutes the results shall stand and if it is less than 70minutes a replay must be ordered, are a full report from the match official.
*NB* The team is open to former students, current students, MSU staff members and others who want to join.
