Fully Funded International Local Authorities Internship Program 2023 in Turkey: Enhancing Local Governance Experience
The Union of Municipalities of Türkiye has been organizing the International Local Authorities Internship Program since 2012. This fully funded international education program aims to provide participants from around the world with comprehensive local governance training.
Through a combination of instructional sessions, practical examples, field visits, social activities, and trips to various cities in Türkiye, the program offers a unique learning experience.
An International Training Environment
The program, known as LOCALINTERNational, has been successful in creating an international training environment that welcomes participants primarily from European, Asian, and Middle Eastern countries. It provides an opportunity for participants to learn, socialize, and observe exemplary municipal work practices.
A Comprehensive Experience
The upcoming program will continue the tradition of offering a range of activities designed to develop future local leaders. Trainings, field visits, and social-cultural activities will be organized to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of local governance.

Fully Funded Opportunity
It is important to note that all expenses associated with the International Local Authorities Internship Program will be covered by the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye. This includes accommodation, transportation, and other necessary arrangements.
