A. Background Dairibord Holdings Limited is a leading manufacturer and marketer of high-quality food and beverage products in Zimbabwe. It is known for its strong market presence, with its brands holding first or second positions in categories such as milk, food, and beverages. These products are distributed through a vast network of retailers, wholesalers, franchisees, street vendors, and company-owned sales shops.

In line with its commitment to skills development, Dairibord is obtaining full accreditation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) as a training office for professionals outside public practice. This accreditation will specifically focus on training future Chartered Accountants (CAs). As a key player in the dairy manufacturing sector, Dairibord aims to strengthen the skill base and contribute to the growth of the financial profession at both the business and national levels.

B. Training Outside Public Practice (TOPP) Programme Dairibord offers a unique developmental opportunity for qualifying candidates to join its TOPP programme (Finance) within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The training office will equip candidates with the essential knowledge, skills, and competencies required to become accounting professionals capable of making significant contributions to both industry and the broader economy.

Successful candidates will participate in a programme that aligns with best practices and embraces disruptive innovations in the financial industry. This programme will expose trainees to collaboration with experts and professionals in the finance field, fostering discussions, sharing innovative ideas, and contributing to the growth and integrity of the accounting profession.

Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply for Dairibord’s three-year TOPP programme. Trainees will undergo a comprehensive development plan that includes practical experience across various financial disciplines. By the end of the programme, trainees are expected to demonstrate a high level of competency and business acumen, positioning them for potential managerial roles.

In addition, candidates are expected to pass all examinations required for registration as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in Zimbabwe.

C. Key Performance Areas The successful candidate will follow a structured training programme, with clearly defined key responsibilities.

D. Education and Knowledge Requirements

  1. 5 ‘O’ Level passes, including English and Mathematics.
  2. A minimum of an upper second-class (2.1) bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related field.
  3. Aged 27 years or younger.
  4. The relevant degree should have been obtained within the last two years.
  5. Preference will be given to applicants with the full Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA).
  6. Applicants with other professional qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA will also be considered.

  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Logical and adaptive mindset.
