DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Controlling and monitoring stock counting and accuracy checks.
• Ensuring receipt and proper storage of new and retread tyres.
• Advising on tyre suitability as per route and terrain.
• Planning and facilitating re-treading of tyres.
• Ensuring tyres are adequately inflated and checked for pressure.
• Assessing tyre strength, durability, and cause of failure.
• Monitoring tyre fitting as per recommended positions and tread specifications.
• Compiling inventory and material reports.
• Resolving discrepancies and complying to control measures.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
• A Diploma or equivalent in Supply Chain Management/Stores Management – a degree in a related field is an added advantage.
• 2 years relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures.
• Numerical literacy and attention to detail.
