Susurumba Resorts & Conservancy is offering a unique volunteer program from June 27th through July 4th in Nyanga, Zimbabwe. This program is perfect for anyone passionate about wildlife, tourism, or conservation.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Hands-on experience: Learn about wildlife identification, tracking, anti-poaching techniques, and more. Gain practical skills in bush camping, guiding, and hospitality.
- Make a difference: Assist with anti-poaching patrols and contribute to conservation efforts.
- Network and build your resume: Get linked to Susurumba Resorts and other Safari and Estate opportunities in Zimbabwe.
Programs Offered:
- Natural Sciences: Focuses on wildlife, including identification, behaviour, and tracking. You’ll also learn about anti-poaching and conservation. This program is physically demanding and requires a science background or interest in becoming a ranger.
- Tourism & Hospitality: Develop your skills in guest service, housekeeping, food prep, and camp management. English fluency and the ability to work nights are required. A degree or experience in tourism or hospitality is preferred.
