
BROADCAST CONTENT MONITORING & COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT x8 – Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above positions that have arisen within our organization for six (6) months contract subject to renewal in the following areas;
Binga -fluent in Tonga, Ndebele, Shona, Nambya and English languages.
Lupane – fluent in English, Shona, Ndebele, Tonga, Kalanga and Nambya languages.
Matobo – fluent in Ndebele, Kalanga and English languages.
Mbembesi – fluent in Ndebele, Xhosa and English languages.
Zvishavane – fluent in English, Shona, Ndebele and Kalanga languages.
Shamva -fluent in Chewa, Shona, Ndebele and English languages.
Harare – fluent in English, Shona and Ndebele languages.
Kariba – fluent in Tonga, Shona, Ndebele and English languages.
DUTIES
Monitoring and analysing of programme content to ensure compliance with the Act, licence conditions, regulations and other relevant statutes.
Preparing compliance reports and making recommendations to the Supervisor.
Providing regular feedback and liaising with the licensees on compliance matters.
Compiling and preparing information for investigations in case of any violations or non-compliance with licence terms and conditions, regulations or other relevant statutes.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Media studies, Communication, Journalism or any related field.
A Degree in a related field is an added advantage.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
