BAK Logistics Vacancy Announcement: Sales Officers
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a sales consultant who can plug into such an environment and has the ability to exceed expectations while developing their knowledge and skills in a career they are passionate about.
DUTIES
Conducts visits and calls to existing customers
Drives international sales (forwarding, customs clearance & bonded warehouse).
Contribute to “Go To Market” Plan.
Attends to customer queries and complaints
Prepares tender documents and supplier registrations
Prepares monthly sales and marketing report
Contributes to Company business plan
Tracks client quotation turn around
Coordinates first 2 or 3 shipments for new customers
Checks or reads newspapers daily for tenders, supplier registrations and business news and circulates relevant articles
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
Must understand the dynamics prevalent in the SADC Supply Chains / Clearing and Forwarding industry.
Very knowledgeable in all aspects of Imports / Exports / Logistics / Warehousing / Clearing and Forwarding
Basic Operational interface experience
Knowledge of Ocean Freight industry with reference to Containers – FCL, LCL and SOC /Break Bulk /Bulk
Knowledge in Car Rental Services (Sales Officer-1)
Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a Related Field,
Extensive sales and marketing skills
