Front Desk Receptionist

Duties And ResponsibilitiesProfessionally assist doctors, staff, visitors, and patients.

  • Clerical support departments (filing, photocopying, typing)
  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient information, files, etc.
  • Schedule appointments, and maintain records between doctors and patients.
  • Communicate with relevant departments on booking
  • Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
  • Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
  • Assist with admissions as per agreed protocols.
  • Communicate medical results to the medical staff

Qualifications And Experience

  • HND / Diploma Secretarial Studies
  • 2 years Experience in a similar position
  • Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong administrative and planning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills

Rehab Technician

 

Duties

  • The management of clubfoot using the Ponsetti method.
  • The application of back slabs and plaster of Paris.
  • Training of patients on how to use mobility aides which would have been prescribed for their condition.
  • Provide a range of physical treatments within their scope of practice to resolve, restore or maintain a physical condition as prescribed by the physiotherapist.
  • Assisting the physiotherapist in procedures that require multiple personnel to handle the patient.
  • Adhere to established standard patient care, treatment protocols, and documentation.
  • Ensure patient needs and progress are communicated to the physiotherapist as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate treatment notes which give a clinical record of the treatment intervention given.
  • Demonstrate ongoing personal development by undergoing relevant CPD activities as may be organised inside and outside the hospital.
  • Report any malfunction of equipment to the appropriate individual as soon as possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Physiotherapist.

Minimum Education Required

Certificate/Diplomafrom Marondera Rehabilitation Technicians Training School. Current licensure with the Medical Rehabilitation Practitioners Council of Zimbabwe.

Experience Required

2 years experience in a rehabilitation facility
