About the SEDISA Trust Bursary
Sedisa is a Black Woman Owned Education Trust shareholder of KAEFER Thermal Contracting Services Pty Ltd, which was formed in 2010. Its main goal is to empower South African Black Women by helping them pay for their Tertiary education through bursaries.
The SEDISA Trust is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2023 academic year. These Bursaries will be given to black female students in these fields:
- Mechanical engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Other related fields of study
The SEDISA Trust Bursary will cover the following expenses:
- Tuition
- Accommodation
- Textbook fees
Minimum requirements for the SEDISA Bursary
- South African citizen
- You must be a black female in terms of the BBBEE codes
- Currently in Matric in 2022 or completed Matric
- Must be studying or intending to study towards a tertiary qualification in 2023 in the fields mentioned above
- You must have registered with a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Financially disadvantaged
- A strong academic record
How to apply:
You must submit copies of the following documents:
- ID card
- Matric latest results if currently in Matric
- If you completed matric the Matric certificate
- Proof of Tertiary registration on the school’s letterhead
- Statement of your fees from the Tertiary Institution on the institution’s letterhead
- List all your study-related costs on the school’s letterhead
- Motivational letter explaining why you deserve to get the bursary
- Your updated CV
