South African graduates below the age of 35 years and not employed are allowed to join this internship programme. Several tertiary qualifications are given the opportunity, and the programme is for people who have not been working as interns elsewhere.
Candidates who apply for this programme must live in Cape Town or Pretoria. If not, they must be willing to find their own accommodation in Pretoria and Cape Town. Successful candidates will not be given a salary but a stipend every month.

Stipend to be paid
The successful interns will get stipends depending on the level of their qualifications:
- National Diploma will get R6360.20 per month
- Bachelors and Honours Degree will get R6360.20
- Master’s Degree will get R7852.08
