Application Date For Unisa Short Courses.
The University of South Africa (Unisa) has announced the opening date for applications for short courses. The application period will open on 1 September 2022 and will remain open until 14 October 2022.
The university’s Centre for Lifelong Learning (UCL) offers Short Learning Programmes, which is their version of short courses, across all the university’s colleges.
The short learning programs are available to anyone who wishes to apply. This includes first-time Unisa applicants, Unisa students changing to a new qualification; and applicants who previously applied for admission but were not offered a space.
Some things to remember when applying:
- Applicants may apply for a maximum of two programmes, ranked in order of preference. If both applications are approved, only one can be registered.
- Unisa will inform applicants of the outcome of their application by the end of January 2023 for semester courses and the end of February 2023 for year programs.
- If successful, Unisa will indicate for which programme the applicant has been accepted for and will offer a space for the period for which was applied for, either semester 1 or semester 2.
- Applicants must accept or decline Unisa’s offer within the prescribed period of time, which would be contained in the letter from Unisa responding to the application.
Applicants should make sure to have all the necessary documents certified and ready when completing their application. Applications can be done online.
