Anele’s father Denies That His Daughter Committed Suicide: So Who Killed Her?
Mzansi is now full of question marks following Moses Tembe’s, father to the late Anele, remarks during his daughter’s funeral service earlier today.
Nellie Tembe, the fiance of music superstar AKA, died on Sunday after falling from the 10th floor of a Cape Town hotel.
She was 22 years old.
In a eulogy read on his behalf by a “family friend” (as Zalebs reports) Moses vehemently refuted that his daughter had suicidal tendencies neither did she view death as the only way out of any tough situation.
Said Moses;
I was neither there when Anele met her fate last Sunday. I neither seek to attack any person, nor cast aspersions, nor create suspicions nor stigmatise any mental condition, however I cannot allow an unfortunate narrative go unchallenged. A narrative which is maliciously purveyed in some circles that Anele, my daughter, was chronically suicidal or had suicidal tendencies.
All I can say is that until she turned 21, Anele would not consider taking her own life as a solution. Not a single member of my family, Anele’s family will have ever associated Anele with suicide, it never arose. Living would have never been Anele’s challenge
As Anele’s father, I hereby state categorically that Anele was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide
After that address, the question in everyone’s mind is, who did it then?
After her fall, Nellie is said to have been found alive but having suffered critical injuries. Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst said they tried to resuscitate her but her condition quickly deteriorated and she was pronounced dead on the scene.
“Medics assessed the patient who had sustained critical injuries and was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic. While stabilizing the patient her condition rapidly deteriorated and she was sadly declared deceased on the scene,” Herbst said.
