Africa AHEAD Call for Suppliers 2024-2025: Empowering Communities through Partnership
Introduction
Africa AHEAD (AA), a registered Private Voluntary Organization (NGO) established in 1995, is dedicated to addressing the needs of urban and rural communities in Zimbabwe through the innovative Community Health Club (CHC) methodology. The organization’s primary objective is to alleviate sickness and poverty while promoting good health by empowering communities across Zimbabwe.
To further its mission, Africa AHEAD is inviting current and prospective suppliers to participate in its supplier registration, vetting, and selection process for the year 2024-2025. Successful vendors will become part of the approved and preferred supplier list for AA projects during this period.
List of Services Required
Africa AHEAD is seeking suppliers across various categories to support its diverse range of projects. The list of services required includes, but is not limited to:
- Hospitality: Accommodation, Conferencing, Catering, Venue Hire, Décor, Events Management & Equipment
- Travel Agency
- Cleaning: Office Cleaning, Sanitary Services, Consumables
- Security Services: Guards, CCTV, Alarms, Surveillance
- Vehicle Hire: Buses, Vehicles, Trucks, Roadshow Vehicles, Taxi Services
- Stationery Supply
- Insurance Services: Motor Vehicle/Bikes, Buildings, Furniture, and ICT Equipment
- PPE – Footwear, Clothing, Luggage
- Internet Service Provisions & Accessories
- Furniture and Appliance (outdoor, office, home)
- Construction Materials inclusive of tools and hardware
- Construction: Plumbing, Electrical Works, Builders, Estimators, Carpentry, Fabricators, etc.
- Water and Sanitation: Geo Surveys, Drilling, Fittings (electrical and solar powered), Borehole Rehabilitation, Pumps and Spares, Sanitation Equipment, Water Distribution & Piped Water Schemes, Water Storage, Water Testing, Water Treatment, and Water Quality Consumables
- Medical Supplies and Equipment
- Motor Vehicles: Brand New, Repairs & Maintenance, Vehicle/Motorcycle Spares, Tyres, and Accessories, Generators & Generator Spares, Repairs, and Maintenance
- Groceries and Retail Supplies
- Solar Supply: Design, Installation, Repairs, Maintenance, and Accessories
- Auction Services
- Printing and Media: Advertisements, Radio, Graphic Design, Photography, Publications, Videography, and Translation
- Identification Material: Printing, Branding of Various Materials, Banners, Fliers, etc.
- ICT: Laptop, Tablets, Accessories, Repairs, and Maintenance
- Consultancy Services: Training, Team Building, Legal Services
- Courier Services, Freight Clearing, and Forwarding
- Agricultural & Livestock Inputs and Services
Qualifications
Interested suppliers are required to submit the following documents:
- Application letter (including address and contact details)
- Company profile
- Certificate of Incorporation, CR14, CR6, Articles, and Memorandum of Association
- Valid Tax Clearance & VAT Registration certificate (if VAT registered)
- At least three trade references from existing and reputable suppliers (with full contact details)
- All documents must be certified
- Banking details (Nostro)
Suppliers providing multiple services should submit separate documentation for each category, clearly indicating the Lot in which they are applying in the subject.
Application Process
Suppliers interested in partnering with Africa AHEAD should submit their documents by email to tender@africaahead.co.zw. Ensure that the documents are sent as one combined PDF. A physical copy is also required and should be sent to 01 Thurso Close, Eastlea, Harare, no later than January 31, 2024, at 1700hrs CAT. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
