Payroll Assistant
Job purpose
To ensure efficient and effective processing of salaries and remuneration-related payments of Econet Wireless Zimbabwe staff. Maintaining and implementing payroll operations by following Human Resources policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidation of payroll input monthly.
- Assist in payroll processing.
- Ensures staff payroll claims are processed in line with the company policy.
- Consolidate and verifies captured payroll input through physical checks and make necessary changes in the system for all input.
- Extracts, verify name lists and send for approval and sign off by respective Head Of Department.
- Process terminations on the payroll system and other requisite entries.
- Process loan applications in line with policy.
- Prepare payroll leave administration as per left returns.
- Prepares all salary-related payments for approval to the Group Payroll Manager.
- Produces internal payroll reports (i.e., leave valuation report, loans reports, journals, headcount reports.) and forward them to various stakeholders.

Payroll Officer x1
Job purpose
To ensure efficient and effective processing of salaries and remuneration-related payments for Econet Wireless Zimbabwe staff. Maintaining and implementing payroll operations by following Human Resources policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure submission of all payroll inputs such as overtime, allowance payments and absenteeism returns before the stipulated deadlines.
- Checks the correctness of all payroll parameters in terms of tax calculations and deductions.
- Checks and verifies captured payroll input through physical checks and make necessary changes in the system for all input.
- Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of approved deductions and other special payroll deductions.
- Establishing and maintaining payroll records and ensuring that employee changes are entered correctly.
- Preparing and processing the payroll.
- Prepare monthly payment reports.
- Ensure that monthly payroll reconciliations are done and forward them to the Payroll Manager.
- Ensure that all remittances are processed correctly and on time to avoid penalties.
- Communicating and liaising with respective HR Officers and HR Business Partners to resolve payroll-related queries raised by employees.

Job Purpose
- To undertake all departmental administrative functions, and offer sales support to Account Managers and Direct Sales customers in line with set key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
- Documents and files departmental minutes, proposals and policies and procedure manuals.
- Raises orders for stationery, fuel, travel and accommodation for the department.
- Prepares input data for the daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Escalates challenging queries to the Sales Manager or other relevant departments and follows up to ensure the resolution

Job Purpose
- To support the Trade Marketing arm of the organization through the implementation of the Trade Marketing Plan, Customer on-boarding support activities (Activations) as well as Trade Visibility and Customer Education on newly launched products (implementation of Go to market plans) on all Customer contact points and Trade Shows.
Key Responsibilities
- Implements the trade marketing plans in relation to trade events using standardized events procedures.
- Implements Trade Exhibitions for the region and national events such as ZITF, Harare Agric Show and Econet Expos.
- Guided by the Launch Execution Plan, roll out Activations for all new products, through Roadshows, In-store Demonstrations, Staff Market Visits and all other Customer Support activities.
