Job Summary:
A private boarding school in Bindura seeks to recruit a passionate and qualified Heritage and Shona teacher to join our team, teaching Form 1 and 2 students. The ideal candidate must possess excellent teaching skills, a deep understanding of Zimbabwean heritage and culture, and the ability to inspire young minds.
Responsibilities
- Teach Heritage and Shona to Form 1 and 2 students
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, notes, and materials
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and administer tests and exams
- Foster critical thinking, research, and cultural awareness
- Participate in staff meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities
- Maintain classroom discipline and organization
Requirements:
- Diploma in Education
- Proficiency in Shona language
- Familiarity with ZIMSEC
