A Plea To Recruiters And Employers From Job Seekers
If there is one moment in life that is so traumatising is when you are job hunting, however, employers and recruiters tend to make it worse.
Employers and Recruiters, when someone is seeking a job opportunity and makes a bold decision to reach out to you, may you kindly respond. Your reply goes a long way, the reply does not necessarily have to be a positive reply. Even an acknowledgement for receiving the application goes a long way.
The silence that the employers give after making an application is so demoralising, that many job seekers have lost hope and are left wondering if the employers are even receiving the applications.
Also, the silence is somehow contributing to the increasing rate of unemployed youth on the streets. Many have lost hope besides having the so-called useless degrees recruiters and employers are rubbing in the stress by not replying.
Dear recruiters and employers Job hunting can be lonely, daunting and demoralising, an acknowledgement on receiving an application or a regret really goes a long way.
