The Opportunity
The Program Officer is vital in planning, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on all our projects. You will track project progress, consolidate information on results, develop high-quality reports, and draft proposals to secure resources.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and monitor all organizational projects.
- Create detailed work plans (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly) outlining activities for successful project completion.
- Track progress against project plans and update staff on achievements or challenges.
- Develop high-quality narrative reports for all projects.
- Gather and share information on project progress with the program manager.
- Draft funding proposals.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience in project planning and implementation.
- Excellent narrative report writing skills.
- Knowledge, expertise, and passion for peacebuilding and human rights.
- Strong facilitation skills.
- Willingness to work in remote rural areas.
- Proven proposal writing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or equivalent.
