Individual Statistics and Sampling Expert Consultant
Purpose Of the Assignment
- The goal of this assignment is to provide statistical and sampling expertise in setting up the monitoring and evaluation framework of the Emergency Social Cash Transfer (ESCT) program and in the cleaning and analysis of the generated evidence.
Qualification:
- Advanced university degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Sampling, Statistical, and M&E
- Expertise in sampling and statistical analysis, expertise in the use of one of the following statistical packages (SPSS, STATA, R, etc.)
- Working experience with Cash Transfer Programmes is an added experience.
- Shona and Ndebele will be an added advantage

Chief Planning and Monitoring
Qualification:
- Advanced university degree in social sciences, statistics, planning development, planning
- A minimum of eight years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: programme development/management, planning and management, monitoring or another related area.
- Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
