
UBS has the perfect way for you to start your career through its graduate internship programme. Needed are qualified candidates to join their Global Markets in Johannesburg. The professional they are looking for will work with Insurance companies—wealth managers, hedge funds, banks, asset managers, intermediaries and many more.
The internship will be an 18 to 24 months program, and you will gain exposure through working with different teams. You will also broaden your experience working with other products, pricing models, and legal topics with their solution offerings.
The internship programme will start in February 2023, and all interns will participate [ate in a 3-day training programme called UBS Discovery. This will make it easy to learn and catch up on what the company doe and how they go about it. There will be several on and off-the-job training related to the jobs you have to do.
Interns Responsibilities:
- Help clients in meeting their growing mandates
- Help in developing payoff profiles and structures that suit the ever-changing needs of the local and global market
- Help with coming up with solutions and opportunities based on an in-depth comprehension of the needs, market conditions and investment patterns.
- Act as a link between clients and execution work while servicing the risk management and demands in trading
Requirements for you to qualify:
To qualify for the Internship programme, you must be a graduate or be in your final year at university. UBS is interested in graduates with qualifications in the following disciplines:
- Finance
- Economics
- Engineering
- Science
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Mathematics
