The successful candidate must possess outstanding competencies, proven track record & skills in the following areasDuties And Responsibilities
> Organisational strategy formulation and implementation. > Develops and drives the implementation of the structure, policies & systems. > Formulates investment policy and strategies for adoption by the Executive Committee. > Management of the investment portfolios for the Council. > Promotes introduction and implementation of ICT systems. > Offers Secretarial Services to the ICZ Council and Industry Associates. > Manage and foster stakeholder relations. > Promote governance and formulate and implement sound risk management systems. > Builds, maintains and motivates an effective team capable of delivering Councils strategic objectives.Qualifications And Experience
> Professional Qualifications in Insurance e.g AlISA or Cll. > Or a relevant Business Degree (Insurance and Risk Management; Finance; Business Management) or equivalent. > Relevant Master's Degree (MBA/MBL). > At least 6 years' experience at Senior Executive Management Level in the Insurance Industry. The person suitable for this job must demonstrate the following minimum job related attributes: > Thorough knowledge of the Insurance industry. > Detailed understanding and knowledge of key laws, rules and regulations guiding the Insurance industry. > Highly developed interpersonal, negotiating, communication and good organisational skills. > Commitment to continuous improvement and customer focused quality service delivery. > Must be business minded, strategic thinker with impeccable integrity and good motivational and leadership skillsTo apply
