The River Mbali Actress Joins Upcoming SAB3 Soapie The Estate

Actress Zenokuhle Maseko, is set to appear on our TV screens once again, in upcoming SABC3 soapie The Estate.

Zenokuhle Maseko is well known for her role as Mbali Dikana, in 1 Magic’s The River.

The news was revealed by entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela on his Twitter account

Maseko will play Sindi in The Estate, set to start airing on SABC3 in April

Zenokuhle Maseko’s exit from The River was punctuated, by the tragic death of her character in a car crash.

Tumi tempered with the brakes of the car, hoping to kill Lindiwe, but in fact it was Mbali who took the car and met her untimely demise.

Mbali’s death delivered one of TV’s finest and heartbreaking hour, as actress Sindi Dlathu who plays Lindiwe, grieved for her daughter.

After her exit from The River, Zenokuhle Maseko told True Love Magazine that it was an amazing experience for her and she was really close with her fellow actors

My experience on The River has been nothing short of amazing. I had a close relationship with everyone, and loved the fact that it was such a safe, loving space.

It always felt like I was leaving home to go home (work). They’re a crazy fun bunch, who are extremely hardworking and dedicated to performing to their level best.

That’s one of the things I deeply admired about them – professionalism and a healthy, supportive environment.
